"Blessed indeed is the man who hears many gentle voices call him father! "
Father's Day is here!!!
I want to lay tribute to my Father. He is a wonderful and joyful man. So many times you hear that a woman is who she is today based on how she was treated by the most influential man in her life.... her daddy.
So here's to you John... I love you and I adore who you have made me. And I thank you for always believing in me.
I am blessed and highly favored, and so are you!

Fathers, be good to your daughters
Posted by The Gift Gal Labels: My father always told me never to love anything that cannot love you back. With much anticipation.. I am back!
And I started a business as "The Gift Gal"
I wanted to help people with one thing they usually have a lack of confidence in. Gifts sometimes make people question what is the right gift?
In 2006, the average U.S. consumer spent $3,000 on gifts and gift accessories (greeting cards, tags, wrappings, ribbons, bows and gift tags) That's almost $250 a month!
If you are wanting to spend $250 a month on something, why not be confident is what you are purchasing?
I would love to help you with your gift giving needs this year! Please visit:

Last night, Jill and I decided to make a night of it and go to the Luminary Festival in down town St. Joe. Now normally St. Joe is rather boring and full of tourists, but we figured we would blaze the snow and the wind and enjoy some of the beauty of "Michigan's most romantic city"
The paths were lined with brightly lit luminaries and the smell of pine filled the air. There were all sorts of people walking the streets. Children ran all around us as we casually strolled down the road. And to top it all off, there were carolers singing in the streets. Some of these groups were dressed up, and some (like below) consisted of people like you and I who just enjoy singing the glory of the Holidays!
We managed to stop into numerous of the quaint little shops that seem to hide every time you pass through downtown. We also manged to meet some really cool locals that were as friendly as pie.
We each found a saying we liked.. and even though we didn't buy them, I ended up finding a neat puzzle from my childhood that I am excited to glue and frame and add to my wall hangings!
We stayed down town for about an hour and a half, bobbing in and out of stores searching for the hot coco that everyone ELSE seemed to find.I am blessed and highly favored, and so are you!

Well I figured I should give a little bit of an explanation behind "the ring"... Yes, this ring. This unbelievably gorgeous, would look phenomenal on my finger, 10K dollar ring...
Remember ladies, when you were little princesses and you dreamed up your entire wedding in your heads. The dress. The location. The Prince. Your colors. Your bridesmaids? Not me.. I planned my ring. And yes I will admit that it was a little different in my head when I was 10 (single pink diamond as big as my knuckle), the feeling I get when thinking about it remains the same..
That is my dream ring. And I don't apologize for dreaming big either.
I am blessed and highly favored, and so are you!

Welcome to me - the new blogger.
I haven't quite figured out what that means - but I feel that I have now graduated to some higher-class of society and now people will be able to find me (and find this) when googling my name (yes 'googling' has become an adjective)..
Either way - I want to give my special "thanks!" to Francie! She is the delightful and wonderful woman who has inspired me to blog! So all you followers out there - thank her :)
Well, first blog ... SUCCESS!
I am blessed and highly favored, and so are you!
